Jean-Philippe’s practice focuses on civil, criminal and commercial litigation, as well as complex negotiations. He advises French and international clients (in English) in the art, publishing, media, luxury goods, fashion, internet, wine and gastronomy industries.

Thanks to his years of experience as a criminal lawyer, he has developed particular expertise in information technology and business criminal law. He draws on his legal expertise to advise his clients on their day-to-day business affairs (negotiating, drafting and reviewing contracts).

He has also developed recognized expertise in the art sector, notably through the management of several artists’ estates. Jean-Philippe began his career with Olivier Metzner, then moved to a business law firm where he practiced intellectual property law in various sectors such as media, cinema and the Internet.

Jean-Philippe has a keen interest in complex matters on inheritance or complex litigation involving multiple issues, multiple jurisdictions and conflicting international regulations. He also handles press litigation, on behalf of personalities and press publishers.

For example, Jean-Philippe has advised and continues to advise the : musee d’orsay, wikipedia, the estates and successors of Vuillard, Degottex, Zao Wouki, Braque, artists such as Pietro Ruffo, Francis Giacobetti , Raymond Cauchetier, and many well-known commercial companies such as Antik Batik, Tawlet, Saint Lazare, Loft design by, Webedia, Believe, Rabih Kayrouz, major publishers and many others.
